My Superkiddo loves animals, really LOVES them, and often searches for books that include kids who love them, or star actual animal heroes. This collection of children’s books ranges from the nostalgic to the downright ridiculous, but what can you expect when the 8-year-old selects the books, right?

Superkiddo and I had a blast reviewing books for this week’s theme! We discovered new, fun things about fingerprints in children’s books. You might be surprised by the gems we found. All reviews have been written by Superkiddo, with occasional grammatical suggestions from Mommy, and were neither compensated, nor influenced by any vendors. Enjoy!

If you, and your favorite readers have joined the rest of the world in renewed Star Wars frenzy, then you may enjoy this compilation from my very own Superkiddo. He insists that even the youngest Jedi will find a great book on the list this week.
Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year! It always makes me think of school supplies, and new books. The books in this post are not just perfect for cuddling up and reading aloud, but they are also easy enough to be enjoyed by your youngest independent readers.
